The 125 hectares of Paul Jaboulet-Aîné are currently overseen by Caroline Frey, under whom the vines are biodynamically and organically cultivated to help microbiological life thrive (even going as far as using horse-drawn ploughs). After all, the estate is a firm believer that great wines cannot exist without great grapes. Crafted with Syrah grapes, the 2017 Hermitage 'La Maison Bleue' unveils candied berries and chocolate on the nose, followed by a full-bodied palate with plum, raspberry, and cedar.
